What to expect
After a storm, we start with an honest inspection. Some damage is clearly significant, and some is cosmetic and may not be worth filing a claim over. We will tell you which is which before you decide anything.
If a claim makes sense, we document the damage thoroughly with photos, measurements, and an Xactimate estimate, and walk that documentation alongside your adjuster. Storm claims often come down to what is functional damage versus what is cosmetic, and having that documented clearly from the start helps avoid disagreements later.
Once the scope is approved, we schedule repairs and keep you informed as the work moves along, with a final walkthrough when it is done.
The insurance side
Storm damage claims can be more complicated than they look, especially with hail, where the difference between cosmetic and functional damage is often the entire disagreement between homeowner and insurer.
We do not treat every storm damage inspection as a claim waiting to happen. If the damage does not rise to the level of being worth a claim, especially against your deductible, we will tell you plainly. That advice comes from having a licensed adjuster and a former insurance agent on our team, not from a sales script.
When a claim is worth filing, we handle the estimate in Xactimate and communicate directly with your adjuster, so the documentation supports the claim instead of leaving it open to interpretation.
